Hi there, I just downloaded the Guitar Rig 5 Demo and tried it out. A great piece of software I have to admit It rocks But.I have one question.

Popular Alternatives to Songsterr for Windows. Explore 6 Windows apps like Songsterr, all suggested and ranked by the AlternativeTo user community. Songsterr Alternatives for Windows - AlternativeTo.net.

I like to practice using tracks from songsterr.com. But - If the Guitar Rig software is running, I'm not able to use Songsterr, it just doesn't play songs. My guess is, that the Adobe Flash Player and Guitar Rig (or Asio4All) conflict.

So the question is, is there a workaround to use both products together? Has someone already experienced the same problem?

I'd really appreciate your answers. Think I'm going to buy GR if I'm able to get this to work. Oh, I'm using Windows 7 Home 64bit.

Thanks in advance. Click to expand. You probably ought to find a copy of google and spend a little time with it.

For

Please don't talk down to people it makes you look small, and you have effectively just shown us how much you don't know. Songsterr is a great site that has running tab (thats readable music for guitar and bass players) for your chosen track.

Since ASIO knocks out ur default sound device while GR5 is running it effectively renders any web page sounds dead. It also stops the tab running on songsterr. What the OP wants can't be had by your uninformed suggestion of using the tape deck. It's for a song only. The OP has brought up a good suggestion though and one I've been thinking about too as I also use Songsterr and GR5. A good idea for the future would be to have some kind of tab plug in like songsterr (or team up with em NI ) GR5 with a tab plug in (component), that can be set to 'play' when your tape deck song plays would be the icing on the cake for this software. Thanks for your answers.

Especially yours BassRougue. I was wondering if someone else got the same problem as me. I'm a guitar beginner and a huge fan of songsterr. It allows me to play along a song while reading the tabs at the same time. That's just great for learning in my opinion. Bluzkat, I already figured out the tape deck feature but this isn't exactly what i was looking for. Using songsterr you can just more exactly play along a song I think.

As mentioned in my previous post, I used a second PC to get this working. Songsterr runs on PC1, it is connected via audio cable to PC2 where Guitar Rig runs. So I have the sound from songsterr and GR both in my headphones. Plus I'm able to record the song on PC2. Since this seems to be a common problem, tt would be great if NI would think about a new feature for GR6;-). Since you want to nitpick about what was said he said 'using tracks from songsterr', not 'he said play along with tracks', then you go on to say 'his 'tracks'. Maybe you are suggesting pirating tracks from the website so then they are 'his' to load in the tape deck. I'm guessing you don't know what a plug in or component is either, since you don't agree about adding something like this.

A plug in or component never has to be used by you, if you play guitar for instance you may find you never use the bass amp's (components) in GR5. But bass players do, so they are there. If you don't want to use a tab component you are not forced to, but it could be there for those who do want to. Invaluable for beginners. And I'm sure its something the dev's have contemplated or even tabled.
