Or, you can opt to race the opponents through ice mountains and volcanoes for a fun-filled experience. The game allows players to select their preferred cars from Hot Wheels Highway 35 cars. World Race I bought this because my three year old son is crazy about Hot Wheels.
He is especially crazy about the World Race & Acceleracer movies, & cars. We bought this with the expectation of the game boy version (since he already has it), but it was so much more then the game boy version. He can be more cars & characters from the movie then he could on the game boy version. Of course the graphics are better, & there is more to the game then the game boy version.
Unlike other Hot Wheels games this game can be enjoyed by all ages. The other Hot Wheels games have always been lame, this one is fun & much like car racing games you would play in the arcade. The only thing I dislike is the same thing I dislike about most World Race accessories, Taro is driving the wrong car. This bothers my son since he knows all the characters & which cars they drive.
